Saturday shapes as the perfect storm for milestones, with a host of players set to celebrate some special games.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, North fans would be well aware club legend Brent Harvey will play in game number 400 against the Brisbane Lions at the Gabba, and he’s set to be joined by a trio of younger Roos who will share in the celebrations.

If selected in North Melbourne’s final 22, Shaun Atley and Sam Wright will both notch up their 100th games, while Aaron Black will celebrate his 50th clash in the royal blue and white.

Harvey will become just the fourth player in AFL/VFL history to reach 400 games, with Michael Tuck (426 games played), Kevin Bartlett (403) and Dustin Fletcher (400*) the current members of the exclusive ‘400 club’.

‘Boomer’ Harvey debuted in 1996, playing one game in Round 22 of North’s Premiership season.

He then went on to achieve his own Premiership success in 1999 and the 37-year-old continues to be an integral part of the North side, averaging a remarkable 21.32 disposals in his 399 games.

Atley made his debut in 2011 against West Coast, in Perth, and quickly made his mark with his blistering pace and ability to break lines.

The 22-year-old has averaged 17.11 touches in his 99 games so far, with a career-high 27 disposals in North’s memorable 20-point win over the Hawks in Round 16, 2014.

Fellow defender Wright has become a key part of North’s defensive line-up in his 99 games for the Roos.

Now 25, Wright made his debut in 2009 as a fresh-faced 19-year-old in a tough loss against Geelong.

Since then, he has spent time both forward and back, more recently taking on some of the competition's best forwards. He averages a touch over 15 disposals per game.

Meanwhile, Aaron Black is in line to play his 50th, after debuting in Round 24 of 2011.

Black has bagged three or more goals in nine of his appearances for the Roos, with the tall forward booting a personal best five majors against St Kilda in 2013.
