North Melbourne players spent their Tuesday putting smiles on the faces of some very excited kids.

As part of LeasePlan's Carn The Kids program, Todd Goldstein, Jamie Macmillan, Scott McMahon and Shaun Atley helped hone the skills of more than 50 lucky kids.

Macmillan was delighted to play his part in a fantastic initiative.

"To see all the young kids learning some skills and getting involved is really encouraging and great to watch," he told NMFC.com.au.

"It's a great program, and it’s really satisfying to be able to see so many happy faces."

The players took the kids on a private tour of the club's Arden Street facilities, including the players’ gym and locker rooms, before signing autographs to conclude the session.

LeasePlan’s Carn the Kids program in partnership with North Melbourne helps give fun experiences to children who wouldn’t normally get the opportunity to do things many of us take for granted.

LeasePlan works with some of Australia’s most respected children’s charities to facilitate the program, including; Camp Quality, HeartKids, Very Special Kids, The CREATE Foundation and Variety to name a few.

Carn the Kids has entertained more than 23,000 kids and carers at Fun Days Out in every state and territory of Australia, since 2003.

In 2015, North Melbourne and LeasePlan’s Carn the Kids program will host four memorable days at the footy in Melbourne and Adelaide.
