North Melbourne will combat the Giants' talls with a big line up of its own after Todd Goldstein, Braydon Preuss, Majak Daw and Ben Brown were all named to take on the Giants in Hobart on Saturday.
Preuss' stellar form has prevented him from being tipped out of the side by the returning Goldstein, who was a late withdrawal last week with an ankle injury.
Sam Durdin has been selected to play his first game, and in doing so, has created history by becoming the 1000th Shinboner to pull on the royal blue and white stripes since the club entered the AFL back in 1925.
Meanwhile Ed Vickers-Willis has edged closer to his debut and has been placed n the emergency list alongside Ryan Clarke and Corey Wagner.
