Brad Scott has afforded the majority of North players a shot at redemption, making just one change to the side that lost to Essendon by 39-points last Friday. Scott McMahon wasn’t so lucky, dropped for ball winner Levi Greenwood.

"So we'll look at round one as a bitterly disappointing performance, but I suspect we'll give the majority of our midfield group, in particular, the chance to atone.

"That being said, we'll hold everyone very accountable for their actions. We'll give them another opportunity to get out there and get the job done,” Brad Scott said.

The Kangaroos take on the Bulldogs at Etihad in the Sunday twilight timeslot, with both teams eager to rectify poor first-up performances.

“We think this weekend is really important to us, we don’t care too much about North Melbourne, it’s about how we play, and play Bulldogs footy and play the way we want to play.” Bulldogs’ coach Brendan McCartney said.

While Greenwood comes in for his 53rd game of AFL, Daniel Currie will have to wait a little longer to play his first after being named as an emergency. He’s joined by Ben Jacobs and McMahon.

For the Bulldogs, captain Ryan Griffen returns from a back injury, while Liam Jones and Lin Jong are the other inclusions.

Brett Goodes, Tory Dickson and Tom Campbell have been omitted.
