Footy Prophet will be NMFC.com.au's AFL Fantasy gurus for 2014. You can follow the team on Twitter and Facebook.

North Melbourne has made two changes for this weekend’s clash against Greater Western Sydney.

Aaron Mullett and Majak Daw (both omitted) have made way for big-haired Ben Brown and the not-so-big debutant Kayne Turner.

Turner has been given his chance following impressive form in the VFL for Werribee. He has been named in the best five times out of 13 games, and in his most recent game he collected 24 possessions and six marks.

While Turner could be the starting substitute come game day, it is a great opportunity for the youngster to experience footy at the highest level.

Unless you desperately need a bargain-priced midfield downgrade option, don’t pick him as a fantasy player until he cements a spot in the side. Do watch him though, as Turner has made a name for himself as a courageous tackler and smart user of the ball. He’s currently priced at $115,200.

The pressure is on North Melbourne as it looks to fend off the other teams vying for a spot in the lower half of the eight. The pressure is also on Fantasy coaches, as this round sees the start of the finals race.

Key to both the Roos’ and fantasy coaches’ success will be a return to dominance by Brent Harvey ($496,725). He had a subdued outing against Geelong last week and fantasy owners everywhere will be crossing their fingers that Boomer hits the big time this week.

Harvey will be closely watched, as he’s now owned in 38,175 teams throughout AFL Fantasy and his 71 points last week was remarkably a season-low return.  Expect the little champ to bounce back.

Will anyone catch Tom Rockliff? ($681,925)

Rockliff is nearly lapping the competition, with an Ablett-like average of 128 fantasy points. His closest playing rival is Steve Johnson, all the way back on an average of 111.

If you still haven’t got Rockliff, it may be a time to making some hard budget choices and working out how you can afford him. Brisbane play Adelaide at the Gabba this Sunday, so he could be in line for another massive score.

Keep in mind though that Brisbane has a very tough run over the rest of the AFL Fantasy finals rounds. They will play Collingwood, Fremantle and Geelong, teams that have arguably the best run-with taggers in the competition.

Rockliff could struggle to score well over those games, but it would be a very courageous coach indeed who decides not to bring him in.
