James Brayshaw has called for a 'full and unconditional apology' from Caroline Wilson.

Speaking on Channel 9's The Footy Show, the North Melbourne president said he expected the apology to be delivered on Monday's episode of Footy Classified.

"I will be watching with great interest on Monday night. And I am talking in the first segment. I and we as a football club expect a full and unconditional apology," Brayshaw said.

"Caro can say whatever she likes about me...but when it comes to the professional integrity of people like Steve Saunders, we as a football club take his reputation...very seriously.

"She repeatedly insisted that our head of high performance, Steve Saunders, had overruled the club doctor.

"That has never happened. That is 100 per cent factually incorrect and she has been alerted to the fact that it is."

On last Monday's Footy Classfied, Wilson suggested that North's medical services director, Steve Saunders, had been overruling the club doctor since 2011.

Brayshaw's comments came after senior coach Brad Scott raised the issue on Wednesday at Aegis Park.

"One thing that we are concerned about is that there are false accusations that any one of our staff would overrule a doctor. That is simply a lie," Scott said.

"It's very dangerous territory when you start making those accusations without any evidence to back it up. I can categorically say that's not true."
