The team

- Disposal was spot on and the Kangaroos recorded an efficiency rating of 78 per cent which is their highest of the season.

- Registered 67 inside 50’s, the second highest-tally of the round behind Collingwood (69). It was the club’s best effort since its 129-point win against Greater Western Sydney in Round 2 (83), but a far cry from the 38 entries registered in Round 10 against Hawthorn.

- Amassed 16 marks inside 50; only bettered in its most impressive wins against Adelaide, Geelong and the Giants.

- 12 individual goal-kickers among North’s tally of 21.

Individuals

- Daniel Wells had a career-high 34 disposals (he’s had 33 on four occasions), including 23 uncontested, and amazingly pumped the ball inside 50 on 11 occasions which is highest of any player in the league this season.

- Leigh Adams had a huge impact, particularly in the first quarter, and finished with 7 clearances to lead all comers. He also had 32 disposals, the third-highest count of his career, and laid 6 tackles. It doesn’t stop there though with a career-high 16 contested possessions.

- Drew Petrie’s 5 marks inside 50 was his best effort for the year so far. The big forward also showed his durability by spending the entire game on the field, something he’s done three times this season.

- Todd Goldstein’s endurance was again on show in the ruck. He played 97 per cent of the game, racking up 41 hit-outs and 18 disposals.

- Just 6 players in the league registered 3 goal assists in Round 14, two of those were from North Melbourne in Jack Ziebell and Wells.
