First half review – Josh Drummond

“It’s obviously been a frustrating year for him so far, now that he finds himself in the VFL.

“It’s tough being a second year player who had a good first year. He’s had to put his head down and really get to work. His attitude over the last few weeks has been really good.

“With the sort of character he is we know it’ll only be a matter of time before he knocks the door down and forces his way back in.”

Second half review – Josh Drummond

“No doubt it was a frustrating year for Luke, partly because he’s such a competitive man and that’s why everyone here is so confident of what sort of player he’ll be in the future.

“He definitely had his challenges this year and he learned a hell of a lot about himself and his game. The way he was able to finish his year, being the late call-up and playing one of his best games for the year, that showed the level he can get to.

“I’m really expecting Luke to bounce back and prove the sort of player we know he can be.”
