With North’s involvement in the JLT Series now over, it’s time to analyse the fantasy prospects of all the Roos’ key players.

North Media analyses the performances of the best performers against Richmond.

Shaun Higgins - $665,000 - JLT Game 2 Score: 119

Arguably the standout performer on the night, the classy midfielder was everywhere for the Roos, racking up a game-high 31 disposals, kicking 1.2.

Higgins also managed a team-high five tackles (equal with Marley Williams), further adding to his fantasy threat.

Higgins is North’s most expensive fantasy option for a reason, and if he can consistently produce scores like this he will be well worth the outlay.

Ben Cunnington - $620,000 - JLT Game 2 Score: 101

The tough midfielder was North’s (and the games) second-highest possession getter, ending the night with 28 disposals.

Cunnington also had an equal team-high six marks, contributing to his triple figure score.

The number 10 was seemingly rested more than some of his midfield counterparts, playing 77% of game time, making his score even more impressive.

One of North’s most consistent performers in recent seasons, and currently in just 0.17% of AFL Fantasy teams, he could prove a strong point-of-difference in your league.

Jack Ziebell - $662,000 - JLT Game 2 Score: 94

The skipper was the third member of the midfield brigade to enjoy a fruitful game against Richmond.

Ziebell was heavily involved, accumulating 24 disposals from his 78% time on the ground, with 17 of those possessions being kicks, which of course score higher than handballs.

The number 7’s tackle tally was much lower than his usual average, with only the three. But don’t be dismayed, as this highlights his scoring potential, as with only three tackles he pushed a triple-digit score.

Marley Williams - $410,000 - JLT Game 2 Score: 97

One of the most impressive performers in the JLT 1 loss to Melbourne, Marley Williams again performed admirably in the loss to the Tigers.

Williams was impressive across the board, as he collected 22 disposals from the backline, as well as co-leading the team in marks (six) and tackles (five).

As with Ziebell, the defender has a tendency to kick over handball, boosting his AFL Fantasy scores further.

If he keeps churning out performances and scores like this, he will make a mockery of his $410,000 price-tag, and with his current selection below 0.5% of teams, he could prove an AFL Fantasy gem.

Todd Goldstein - $610,000 - JLT Game 2 Score: 65

Fans of North Melbourne and AFL Fantasy alike will be hoping Goldstein can return to his dominant form of previous years, and his performance on Wednesday night suggested he might be back on his way.

Despite only spending 42% of time on the ground, the big man won an impressive 16 hitouts, collected 8 possessions, and kicked a classy goal.

His situation is one to monitor, as Braydon Preuss was also in strong form, and will no doubt push Goldstein for the number 1 ruck position throughout 2018.
