Take a delicious Sicilian feast, add a room full of North women and their friends, blend in some fabulous footy stories, and you have the recipe for a fun-filled afternoon.

Chef Rosa Mitchell, long-time North Melbourne supporter and author of My Cousin Rosa: Rosa Mitchell's Sicilian Kitchen, presented delicious food and enthralled us with her Sicilian culinary and travel experiences.

The fun really started when Rosa returned to amuse us with the perils of booking her wedding on Grand Final Day, and yes, North ended up being in the GF that year! Wonderful stories flowed at the tables, with Joan Brayshaw walking away with a signed copy of Rosa’s book for telling the best footy story.

Inspire member Sonja Hood, General Manager of the North Melbourne Learning and Life Centre, up-dated us on NMLLC activities, extending an open invitation to contact her or visit the Centre.

Sincere thanks to the NMFC, Murdoch Books, Sarah Brayshaw and Lyndell Pond for the fabulous raffle prizes, and to all Inspire members and friends for their invaluable involvement and support.
