Early morning fog meant a delay to the North Melbourne team flight out of Melbourne, but it didn't discourage its players from hitting the track with enthusiasm in Sydney on Saturday.

In a similar vein to Round 2 in Tasmania, the Kangaroos opted to train interstate on the day before the game, this time getting used to the unusual dimensions of the SCG.

The Swans' home ground is much shorter than Etihad Stadium and those of North's younger brigade who haven't played on the ground, welcomed the chance to get used to the different conditions.

If the current weather is anything to go by, it could be a tough day at the office on Sunday. The humidity caught most by surprise but the rain forecast earlier in the week was nowhere to be seen during a light skills session.

After a short bus ride to the hotel, the players were encouraged to clear their minds and relax ahead of a clash that has top four repercussions.
