Drafted from the Oakleigh Chargers in 2022, Drury is a small forward/midfielder with leadership qualities and a high footballing IQ.
His strong midfield attributes translate over to when he spends time inside forward 50 as a small forward. He can read the play well, and with his clean hands he can pinch goals when there's only a sliver of a chance.

2023: The rookie draftee began as a potential half-back flanker but soon shifted to half-forward.
Having shown his speed and smarts in the VFL, Drury was provided the opportunity to debut in the AFL in Round 8 against the Saints. He collected 13 touches and four marks and featured over the next two weeks before a hip complaint began to restrict his output.
He returned for his fourth and final game of 2023 as the sub in Round 23, capping off a promising first season.
