The North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos have made one change for Sunday's match against ladder leaders Fremantle in Hobart.

Father-daughter recruit Amy Smith comes into the side to replace midfielder Kaitlyn Ashmore, who is sidelined with a hamstring strain.

The hard-running Ashmore picked up her injury while gathering 11 touches in last Sunday's win against the Blues, as well as snapping home the fourth-quarter goal that put the result beyond doubt.

Smith, who made her debut in round one, will have the opportunity to add to her two career games.

The Dockers travel to Hobart hoping to extend their perfect 5-0 start to the season, having held off the Western Bulldogs on Tuesday night. The Kangaroos have their own record to defend, having never been beaten in six previous AFLW matches in Tasmania.

Lexi Hamilton, Tess Craven and Grace Campbell will travel with the selected squad.
