First Nations Hub

Marram is the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung word for kangaroo - always moving forward, never back.

We are Marram is how we carry that spirit as a club, a mob bound together.

Our 2026 guernsey, titled 'We are Marram', is a First Nations interpretation of the club’s iconic Bounding Roo, honouring the cultural belonging of our 33 past and present First Nations players.

Marram, the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung language word for kangaroo, ties the design by Emma Bamblett (Wemba Wemba, Gunditjmara, Ngadjonji and Taungurung) back to both Country and club identity.
