Nick Larkey joined an exclusive club on the weekend, after his performance against Port Adelaide he's become one of just a handful of players to have kicked 100 goals for North Melbourne at VFL/AFL level.
Since taking on the mantle of North Melbourne's primary key forward in recent years, Nick Larkey has taken his game to new heights, culminating in a top-15 finish in last year's Coleman Medal.
He passed a significant milestone on the weekend to become the 70th player in the history of the club to kick 100 goals wearing blue and white stripes. He's the third active player on North's list to achieve the feat alongside Jack Ziebell and Todd Goldstein.

Brown, much like Larkey, progressed from late draft pick to deadly full-forward. During his time at North he forged a reputation of being one of the most accurate and classy key position players in the AFL.
Their parallel histories make it fitting that both players took 59 games to reach the milestone.
Waite, on the other hand, took just 49 games to kick 100 goals for the club however he came to Arden Street as an established senior talent. It took him 85 games to kick the first 100 goals of his career.
Looking across the competition, the current Coleman Medal holder Harry McKay experienced a breakout campaign in 2021 by kicking 58 goals in 21 games. That strong year saw him kick his 100th goal in his 56th career game.
While he won two premierships early in his career Tom Hawkins initially struggled to make an impact at AFL level. It was only after his breakout game in the 2011 Grand Final that he became the powerful forward we know today. He took 76 games to reach the 100-goal mark.
While Larkey is by no means the fastest player in club history to 100 goals, his ability to go from pick 73 in the 2016 Draft to North's main man up forward and reigning club leading goalkicker is an immense achievement.
Not bad for a player who didn't register a touch on his debut.
