The North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos have been successful in their application for a Women’s Coach Acceleration Program scholarship which will see the creation of a full time role across the club’s men’s and women’s program.

The scholarship is an initiative by the AFL, in conjunction with clubs, to support the continued growth of female coaches within the industry.

“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to provide a full-time role across our AFL and AFLW programs,” North Melbourne’s Head of Women’s Football Nathan Hrovat said.

“We will continue to work through the process of identifying the best possible candidate for our football club.

“We look forward to welcoming a new face to Arden Street in the near future, someone who will impact our program in the short and long term and align with our club values and behaviours.”
