The North Melbourne Kangaroos took on a high-flying Collingwood side in the VFL on the weekend and, while victory eluded them, they put in a strong performance against good opposition.

In a game where goals were hard to come by for both teams Eddie Ford and Max Mitchell-Russell impressed with two majors each, and Jason Horne-Francis lived up to expectations with a stellar individual display.
