North Melbourne has made five changes for Sunday's match against Essendon at Marvel Stadium.
Mid-season defensive recruit Kallan Dawson has been locked in for his AFL debut, while Nick Larkey is back to lead the forward line after overcoming his heel injury.
Joining them in the team will be Jack Mahony, Jackson Archer and Charlie Lazzaro.
Going out will be the suspended Flynn Perez, while Aaron Hall, Aidan Corr and Paul Curtis will miss due to health and safety protocols.
Phoenix Spicer has been omitted and will be an emergency alongside Josh Walker, Kayne Turner and Josh Goater.
One of those four will be named the medical substitute an hour before the bounce.
