North Melbourne's deal to play two games a season at Blundstone Oval has received further support, with several key-backers committing to the venture.

Chief Executive Officer Eugene Arocca today met with representatives of the AFL, the AFL Taskforce, Hobart City Council and the Hobart Chamber of Commerce to sign the agreement.

“This deal is one of the final pieces of the puzzle as we work together to deliver an outstanding match day experience to the passionate AFL supporters in Hobart," Arocca said.

"We've received some outstanding support not only from the people of Hobart, but from the Hobart City Council, as well as the RACT and Spirit of Tasmania for this venture to become a reality."

On Thursday the club further enhanced its commitment to the region with the appointment of Michael Moschogianis to oversee the club's operations in Tasmania.

"We'll be playing six games in Hobart over the next three seasons, and we are committed to bringing football followers the opportunity to watch the game live, and feel part of the club with special clinics, player appearances and community programs already planned for 2012.
