Another number for the 2014 list has been confirmed, with Robin Nahas to wear 28 in his first year at North Melbourne.

In Nahas' five years at Richmond, he wore 38 in 2009 followed by 26 from 2010-2013.

One of the most famous number 28s in North's history was current AFL CEO Andrew Demetriou. He played 91 games in the jumper from 1982 to 1987, kicking 42 goals.

Only three Roos have played more than 100 games in number 28. Dally O'Brien with 132 (1940-1949) leads the trio, while Byron Pickett (1997-2002) played 120 and Bob Brooker (1949-1956) 107.

The most recent Roo to wear the jumper at senior level was Will Sierakowski with seven games in 2013. However there is still a former number 28 on the list, even with Sierakowski departing the club at the end of this season.

Ryan Bastinac started his career in the jumper and played his first two seasons with it before switching to number three at the end of 2011.
