The North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos face the other half of Season Six's Grand Final this week as they challenge Adelaide at Unley Oval.

The trio of Sophie Abbatangelo, Dani Hardiman and Alice O'Loughlin, who haven't featured at the AFLW level this season due to injuries, will be up for selection heading into Round 3.

Abbatangelo kicked five goals from 10 appearances last season and further impressed with her ability to tackle and pressure inside forward 50.

Hardiman would be a handy addition to a backline that stifled the Demons' forward pack for much of the Round 2 match and, like Abbatangelo, she would bring plenty of experience to a relatively young side.

Young forward O'Loughlin could feature for the Roos for the first time since Round 8 last season.

The exciting 20-year-old prospect has showed plenty of positive signs throughout the AFLW and VFLW since arriving at the club in late 2020 and could be included if the match committee wants to switch things up.

Emerging ruck Grace Matser, winger Hannah Bowey and fellow potential debutant Ella Maurer were all emergencies last week and could also be in contention to play their first AFLW games.

Having left the ground prematurely against Melbourne, Tess Craven has pulled up well after copping a blow to her calf and will be ready to face the Crows on Saturday should she get through training.

2022 draftee Cassidy Mailer (bone stress – leg) is still 2-3 weeks away from being a chance to debut for the club.
