Werribee begins its Foxtel Cup campaign on Saturday at Etihad Stadium against the Burnie Dockers, while North Ballarat take on Williamstown at Eureka Stadium in the ABC's Game of the Week.
The Dockers opened their League season with a 114 point victory against Devonport, showing they won't let the Tigers have it all their own way.
Werribee has named 13 North-listed players as it looks to bounce back from two consecutive losses in the VFL. Lachlan Hansen, Ben McKinley and Ben Warren will be the Tigers' focal points up forward as the team sets out to solve its goal kicking woes.
At Eureka Stadium, North Ballarat's situation is far more positive. After its first win of the season thanks to a big second half from Aaron Black, the Roosters greet Williamstown in a rematch of last year's qualifying final.
Much like in the win against Collingwood, Cam Richardson, Cruize Garlett and Gavin Urquhart will be relied on to provide some drive out of the midfield.
