After a disappointing loss to the Western Bulldogs, Brad Scott and the match committee made three changes to the team. Given the circumstances of the defeat to Port Adelaide, several Kangaroos in the VFL could be on the cusp of an opportunity in the senior side.

Luckily there are multiple players in good form for both Werribee and North Ballarat. kangaroos.com.au looks at those in the mix for a call-up.

Have your say on what changes you would make in the comments section below.

Liam Anthony

Dropped after playing each of the first seven games for North Melbourne, Anthony responded with a best-on-ground performance for the Roosters. A high kicking efficiency (75 percent) would have been pleasing for the Kangaroos' coaching staff and could see him straight back in the lineup.

Aaron Black

Black demonstrated an ability to find his own ball on the weekend with 20 disposals while playing as a key forward. Also providing a solid target in the air, Black ended with eight marks to cap a well-rounded game.

Aaron Edwards

The power-forward was a late withdrawal from the clash against the Power due to soreness, but if he can get through training this week is perhaps the most likely inclusion in the side.

Cruize Garlett

Another strong effort from Garlett netted 31 disposals, 13 of them contested which was a game high for North Ballarat. A regular feature among those pushing for selection, Garlett's ability to accumulate possessions as well as win the ball inside leave him well placed to contribute to the North side if given a chance.

Sam Gibson

As the mid-season elevation period nears, Gibson is putting his name at the top of the list of those who could be promoted. A further 25 possessions and two goals on the weekend did his chances no harm.

Lachlan Hansen

Hansen played his best game for the season for Werribee on the weekend, finishing with 13 marks and three goals in a strong performance. He played both games against Brisbane last year, but must first face the VFL Tribunal on Wednesday night on a rough conduct charge before being considered.

Ayden Kennedy

Since breaking into the Werribee senior side, Kennedy has been impressive in the back-line. This didn't change on Sunday as he was named in the bests again, collecting 17 touches. While he still may be a little while away from a senior debut, further strong performances will have him donning the blue and white in the near future.

Hamish McIntosh

The big ruckman missed last week with knee soreness, but faces a test late in the week to prove his fitness.

Aaron Mullett

Used as the chief source of rebound off half-back, Mullett collected plenty of the ball in the Roosters' defeat. Given the struggles of North Melbourne's defence to gain possession during Port Adelaide's comeback, Mullett's efforts could very well be looked at by the coaches.

Cameron Richardson

Doing the hard stuff, Richardson impressed with eight one-percenters for the Roosters. Add that to 12 contested possessions among his 27 disposals in total and Richardson and it's proof he's hitting some good form.

Robbie Tarrant

Tarrant kicked four goals and had 11 marks in Werribee's win over the Northern Blues. While his form wasn't what he'd like it to have been in the early rounds at senior level, a performance like the one on the weekend signals he's ready for another opportunity

Sam Wright

Scott indicated Wright would likely only miss a week with shoulder soreness, and he'd have to be considered a strong chance to return if he gets through training over the next couple of days.
