Slocombe arrives at Arden Street from Western Australia, where she was among her state’s best during this year's Under-18 National Championships.

She averaged 15 disposals across her three games, in which she showcased her eye-catching bursts from the middle of ground.

"We felt Ella was a top-end talent and are very excited to select her," North Melbourne AFLW list manager Flynn Loft said.

The Claremont Tigers product also had double-digit disposals and averaged a goal per game in each of her six appearances in the WAFLW this season.

With impressive speed and endurance, Slocombe has the potential to break games open for the Kangaroos, whether playing as a hard-running midfielder or dangerous forward.
