Set to finish in the early months of 2013, the new oval will be the same size of Etihad Stadium upon completion and new lighting, seating, coach’s boxes and benches will be installed. Most importantly, a brilliant new surface will be laid.
It means some of North's pre-season training will take place elsewhere during the summer months.

Things are really starting to progress with the oval redevelopment - works are expected to be completed by Christmas with the grass growing period expected to take around two months.
