FIND OUT MORE"We are delighted to appoint Hamish as our NGA head coach," North Melbourne head of strategic operations and projects Nathan Hrovat said.
"Hamish's background in teaching and his work in game development at AFL Vic and the Werribee Football Club further strengthens our connection with one of our NGA zones. He will be a great asset to our club, supporting the delivery of academy programs in the region through participation and talent identification initiatives."
MacInnes replaces Nick Devereux, who has taken on a new role within the club's AFLW program as head of player performance and an assistant coach.
Participants will now train under the guidance of MacInnes, as well as receive education on nutrition, strength and conditioning, recovery, and football fundamentals.
