Forward Alice O'Loughlin showed the pace that helped propel her into last season's All Australian team, topping the charts in the club's 1.5km time trial as the North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos launched their pre-season.
The No.8 won the clock test ahead of fleet-footed winger Taylah Gatt. Defender Eliza Shannon finished third.
O'Loughlin was as dangerous as forwards come in 2024, kicking 14 goals to claim a maiden All-Australian blazer before adding five more during the AFLW finals campaign.
Gatt took her game to new heights in last year's premiership-winning campaign, averaging 11.3 disposals and 3.9 tackles as she stamped her name as one of the League's best wingers.
Experienced Roos Nicole Bresnehan and Ash Riddell tied for fourth spot.
Mia King, Eilish Sheerin, Amy Smith and Tessa Boyd didn't take part in the trial but participated in training drills. Sarah Wright and Irish pair Vikki Wall and Erika O'Shea were all absent.
