North Melbourne Werribee has put on a Friday night clinic, trouncing the Western Bulldogs by 62 points.

The Kangaroos put the foot down right from the opening siren, converting their 14-1 advantage in the inside-50 count into a 22-point quarter-time lead, which grew as the game went on.

It was the ever-reliable duo of Renee Tierney (27 disposals, seven tackles) and Maddie Di Cosmo (28 disposals, five clearances) that did the damage from start to finish. The pair combined well by hand to burst out of several stoppages, with the skipper also hitting the scoreboard from a dazzling snap from the pocket.

Stunning Sutton snap

Reese Sutton gave the Roos a dream start to the second term thanks to a brilliant on-the-run snap. The No.4 pounced on a loose ball close to goal before swinging around to slot a brilliant goal over her shoulder less than a minute after quarter-time.

Stella stands up

Stella Reid built on her impressive run of form, picking up 19 disposals and a game-high 11 intercepts.

The defender played a large hand in the Roos' shutout of the Dogs, putting on a brilliant all-round defensive masterclass in the air and on the ground, finishing with eight marks and six tackles.

Nicholas' quick-fire double

Georgia Nicholas pulled out all the tricks to slot two majors in the blink of an eye.

Blazing away from the defenders, the livewire kicked her first from 20 metres out at full pelt, before backing it up with another on-the-run effort from 40 metres out shortly before three-quarter time.
