Small forward Robert Hansen jnr has been named as North Melbourne's substitute for Saturday night's clash with Geelong at Marvel Stadium.

Hansen jnr has been recalled after showcasing his zip and smarts in the VFL, kicking two goals in the opening term.

High-flyers Zane Duursma and Finnbar Maley join Hansen jnr as the three inclusions for the Roos following the 31-point loss to the Sydney Swans.

Duursma, who impressed playing behind the ball at VFL level against Sydney on the weekend, has been recalled for his first AFL match since Round 17.

Forward Maley kicked two first-quarter goals for the reserves on Saturday, also pinch-hitting in the ruck as he finished with 13 disposals and seven tackles.

He returns to the senior side after being omitted following Round 18's match against Melbourne.
