Stars George Wardlaw and Nick Larkey are among five potential inclusions in North Melbourne's extended squad for Sunday's match against St Kilda.
Larkey has been named after completing two full training sessions as he recovers from persistent knee soreness following a PCL injury.
Wardlaw has been added to the squad, having played two consecutive VFL games after his return from a concussion. The hard-hitting midfielder was among the standouts in the reserves' rollercoaster loss to Geelong at Arden St, collecting 19 disposals and laying nine tackles.
Forward Geordie Payne is in the mix for a possible AFL debut after also being included in the squad, alongside Cooper Harvey and Will Phillips.
Payne continued his impressive VFL form by kicking four goals against the Cats. while Phillips had 20 touches and four clearances.
Harvey missed Round 20's match against Geelong due to illness.
Captain Jy Simpkin will miss Sunday's Marvel Stadium match against the Saints due to a knee injury.
Big forward Finnbar Maley has been omitted this week.
The Kangaroos will name their selected team at 5pm on Friday.
