In a new feature on kangaroos.com.au, we'll be following each of North Melbourne's new additions on the training track in the lead-up to the NAB Cup.

Cameron Richardson put in a brilliant season for North Ballarat in the VFL in 2010 and it culminated in the club's third successive premiership.

Pre-listed by the Gold Coast, North Melbourne valued him so highly that it traded its second-round pick for the talented 23 year-old.

Richardson has slotted in with ease at his new club, excelling on the track with his impressive endurance - an asset which enabled him to win a pre-Christmas time trial.

Our cameras were focused on Richardson during full-ground drills and a testing bout of match practice that saw the mature age recruit pitted up against the likes of Brent Harvey and Daniel Wells.

Check out the video above for training vision, comments from assistant coach Shane Watson and the final word from Richardson.
