North Melbourne’s VFL side will take part in a curtain-raiser, when it meets the Cats in Geelong in Round 19.
The first bounce will take place at 3.45pm on August 10, ahead of the clash between both AFL sides later that night.
The league has reduced the time gap between the final siren of the curtain-raiser and the start of the AFL game from one hour to just 45 minutes, to enhance the experience for the spectators.
