The performances of Jas Garner and Jenna Bruton have been recognised, with the pair listed as the North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos’ players to earn selection in the AFLW Team of the Week.

Playing against her former side, Garner was a shining light at Marvel Stadium, booting two goals, on the back of Bruton’s energetic display in the midfield.

Bruton tallied 19 disposals against a determined Pies’ outfit, the most of any player wearing the royal blue and white stripes in Saturday’s twilight game.

Remarkably, Round 6 firms as the only week where key defender Jess Duffin hasn’t been featured in the Team of the Week.

Duffin is listed alongside Meg McDonald, Erin Phillips and Maddy Prespakis as the only players to earn selection on five separate occasions.
