Todd Goldstein signs new three-year deal

Todd Goldstein's desire to be a one-club player will become a reality after the star ruckman signed a new three-year deal with North Melbourne.

After returning to his All-Australian form in 2019, the 31-year-old has turned his back on Free Agency and overtures from other clubs, to stay with the Kangaroos.

"I had a lot to weigh up when the season finished, but ultimately my love for North, my teammates and the people here won me over," Goldstein told North Media.

"I've always said I wanted to see out my career at Arden St and be a one-club player, so I'm thrilled to be able to do that now."

The 234 game player averaged a career-high 17 possessions this season, and believes he has plenty more in the tank.

"I played every game this year and ran out the season well," he said.

"I feel the best I ever have in terms of both my body and my mind, and can't wait for what the future holds for our club.

"I feel like I can still go to another level with my game and impact the scoreboard a little bit more and become a more dangerous proposition when I push forward."

Known for his endurance and ability to ruck solo without the need for a rest on the bench, Goldstein has been a tremendous asset for North since his debut in 2008.
