Kangaroos Erika O'Shea and Taylah Gatt have shared the spoils in North Melbourne's pre-season 1.5km time trial.

The speedsters finished in a dead heat for first, with Irish star Vikki Wall third.

Half-back O'Shea was perhaps unlucky to not make the 2025 AFLW All-Australian squad after an outstanding season last year, starring in the Kangaroos' stingy defence while racking up a career-high 16.5 disposals per game.

An ankle injury limited Gatt to nine games last season, but the hard-running winger continued to improve across those appearances and played an important role in Darren Crocker's premiership-winning side.

Alice O'Loughlin and Mia King finished fourth and fifth respectively, with Eliza Shannon and Eilish Sheerin in close pursuit.

Ash Riddell, Tess Craven and Jasmine Garner rounded out the top 10, while second-year Roo Claire Mahony demolished her personal best to finish just outside the placings.
