North Melbourne Werribee has continued its 2026 campaign with a 32-point comeback win against Carlton on Saturday.
In a tale of two halves, the Kangaroos were facing a 17-point deficit at half-time, but a dominant eight-goal-to-zero second half saw the game flipped on its head.

The Roos’ defence was much improved in the second half, only conceding two behinds after conceding six goals in the first half.
The final score at Ikon Park saw North Melbourne Werribee triumph 11.6 (72) to 6.4 (40).
The 51-point turnaround was sparked by Shelby Knoll, who gathered 12 disposals and booted four goals, with three coming after the main break.
She was joined by Abby Favell, who racked up 20 disposals, six tackles, and kicked two goals.

North Melbourne Werribee was losing the mark count 43-13 at half-time, but by winning the second-half count 35-23, the Kangaroos were able to get the game back on their terms to then dominate on the scoreboard.

Knoll started dominating up forward. Carlton had no match for her inside 50, and she used her elite contested marking ability to bag four goals.
