North Melbourne Werribee has come out victorious by three points, beating Collingwood in a thrilling Grand Final rematch on Sunday.

The marks the Kangaroos' eighth in a row to start the season and are now the only undefeated team left in the 2026 VFLW season.

A low-scoring first quarter saw neither side kick a goal, but unrest started to set in as the Magpies took a nine-point lead into the main break.

The third quarter is where the Roos shined, kicking all five of their goals to set up a lead large enough to withstand a late push from Collingwood in the fourth.

Alana Barba was excellent all day, tallying an equal-game high 26 disposals, as well as a superb goal in the second half.

Ava Seton, also racked up 26 touches to go along with 10 tackles and nine clearances, showing off her elite contested ability.

Slip, skip, score

Nyakoat Dojiok's goal in the third term came through an unusual avenue as she slipped over to send her opponent flying past, before getting back up to dribble home a major.

North Melbourne Werribee has jumped into first position on the 2026 VFLW ladder, now sitting as the last undefeated team in the competition.
