Defender Tom Blamires and key tall Wil Dawson will come into North Melbourne's selected side to play Hawthorn in Launceston on Saturday.

The pair are the Kangaroos' only changes for the Round 21 match at UTAS Stadium.

Dawson earned the recall for what will be his seventh AFL match of the season after a dominant performance in last weekend's VFL match against Brisbane. Playing a ruck/forward role, the young tall kicked three goals while winning 26 hitouts.

Blamires had 32 disposals and nine inside 50s in the same game to earn his 15th AFL appearance.
