North Melbourne's depth of young talent has been recognised in this year's AFL Players’ Association 22Under22 squad, presented by Intrepid, with five rising Kangaroos earning nominations in the 40-man squad.

Harry Sheezel, George Wardlaw, and Colby McKercher are joined by first-time nominees Finn O’Sullivan and Cooper Trembath in a strong showing that highlights the club's bright future.

Sheezel is in contention to earn a spot in the final 22Under22 team for the fourth straight year, while Wardlaw and McKercher will be looking for their second selections in the final team.

O’Sullivan and Trembath round out the Roos' five selections, an equal League-high alongside the Brisbane Lions.

The final 22Under22 team is decided entirely by fan votes, and Kangaroos members and fans are urged to get behind the five nominees to ensure they earn a spot in the side.

Voting is now open and closes at 11.59pm AEST on Wednesday, August 12. 

The final team will be announced on August 19.
