North Melbourne's young stars Harry Sheezel, Colby McKercher, and Cooper Trembath have been named in the final 2026 AFLPA 22Under22 team, presented by Intrepid Travel.

Strong fan voting locked in North Melbourne as one of the most represented clubs in the competition. With three final selections, the Roos finished second only to the Brisbane Lions.

Leading the side as captain, superstar Harry Sheezel earned a rare fourth career selection and his first as skipper.

Sheezel, who was made the Kangaroos' sole vice-captain ahead of the season, has gone on to average over 30 disposals in 2026. He was selected in the midfield in 72 per cent of fan-voted teams, making him one of the top 10 most-voted players overall.

Colby McKercher secured his second consecutive 22Under22 nod, earning a spot on the half-forward flank. Meanwhile, young key-position star Cooper Trembath capped off a breakout year with his first 22Under22 selection, named as the team’s starting ruck.

Like Sheezel, Trembath featured in the top 10 most-voted players, receiving 67 per cent of the fan vote.

Both McKercher and Trembath have featured in every game this season. McKercher averaged 21 disposals for the year, while Trembath booted 31 goals alongside his ongoing development as a second ruck.
