Tall forwards Tahlia Randall and Kate Shierlaw shared nine goals as North Melbourne maintained its unbeaten start to 2026 with a 92-point win over Euro-Yroke (St Kilda) on Saturday.

Randall kicked five goals to take her season tally to 11 from the opening four games, while taking time out from her goalkicking to lay a ferocious tackle on Saints star Jesse Tawhiao-Wardlaw.

In her 10th AFLW season, the 37-year-old Shierlaw kicked four goals of her own, defying both the years and a swirling northerly wind at RSEA Stadium.

Playing against her old side, Shierlaw threaded her first goal from the boundary, her second from Moorabbin's trickiest forward pocket, and kicked her third after sprinting from the centre circle to get on the end of a thumping Bella Eddey pass.

She had an opportunity to add a fifth to her tally late in the match, but instead chose to chip short to teammate Emma King. 

King, who was chaired off after her 100th AFLW match, slotted a banana goal to celebrate her milestone in style.

Skipper Jasmine Garner (38 disposals, 11 clearances), was again imperious as the Kangaroos controlled the Indigenous Round clash, supported by her star vice-captain Ash Riddell, who had 39 disposals.

Eilish Sheerin marked her return to the side with two goals from 24 disposals, while Kim Rennie dominated the ruck battle with 26 hitouts.

The 14.15 (99) to 1.1 (7) win extends the Roos' record winning streak to 31 matches, and keeps them on pace with the unbeaten Carlton and Melbourne - both of whom they will face in the coming month.

One of North Melbourne’s inaugural players, Emma King notched up her 100th game on Saturday afternoon. It’s been a storied journey for the now 32-year-old ruck/forward who played the first two seasons with Collingwood, where she was one of the club’s marquee signings. King also played in the first-ever AFLW game at Ikon Park against Carlton in front of the sell-out crowd. Now, 11 seasons later, King is a two-time premiership player with the Roos, a two-time All-Australian, and in Saturday’s game she booted a goal, had 11 disposals and three marks.

The fixture gets tough for the Kangaroos, who now face a testing month against four of the League's top contenders. The fast-improving Carlton is the first cab off the rank. The Blues will visit Arden St for the annual AFLW SuperClash, which raises much-needed funds for the Royal Children's Hospital, on Sunday, September 13 at 3.05pm AEST.
