Moschogianis was appointed after an extensive recruitment process that attracted nearly 100 applicants, 10 of whom were short-listed, with the final four candidates interviewed late last week.
The General Manager - Sales & Marketing for Cricket Tasmania for seven years between 2004 and 2011, Moschogianis has lived in Tasmania since 2003 and boasts experience in sports administration roles in Surf Life Saving, Golf and Tennis.
Moschogianis will be based at AFL Tasmania’s head office in North Hobart and will begin his employment on Tuesday November 1.
