Ben Cunnington is way out in front in the Mazda Excellence Award, with just four rounds remaining.

Cunnington sits 12 votes clear of his nearest rival, Shaun Higgins, with fans still able to have their say on the Round 19 clash against Melbourne

North's number 10 was considered the Roos' best in four out of five games during a remarkable stretch between rounds 13 and 17.

Higgins has polled in nine games, including two best afield performances in Rounds 2 and 10.

Ben Brown is in equal-third and could be in line for more recognition after a big game against the Demons last week.

Robbie Tarrant and Luke McDonald have also enjoyed outstanding seasons, both polling eight votes so far.

Register your votes in the Mazda Excellence Award every Monday after the game for your chance to win a team-signed guernsey, or tickets to the 2017 Syd Barker Medal.
