There’d barely be a better sight in football than watching Daniel Wells at his best.

On Friday night, the dynamic midfielder played arguably his best game of the season and was rewarded with nine votes from the coaches.

With 29 disposals, 7 tackles and 12 score involvements, Wells was a clear stand-out against the Tigers at Blundstone Arena.

It’s the third time this season North’s number eight has polled, while Andrew Swallow was among the votes for the fourth time after a true captain’s game.

Swallow racked up 11 tackles to go with 10 clearances and 28 disposals.

Jack Ziebell moved into the top six on the AFLCA Leaderboard, registering five votes for his 30-diposal effort.

Nick Dal Santo (33 disposals, 8 tackles) was handed four votes after setting the tone for his team early, likewise Brent Harvey who kicked four goals.

The midfielders dominated proceedings as Ben Cunnington completed a clean sweep of the votes with one.
