The 34th overall pick at last year’s NAB AFL Draft, Mahony impressed during the pre-season, gaining valuable experience in the Marsh Series.

He booted 3 goals in the Roos’ scratch match against the Western Bulldogs last week.

Standing 201 centimetres, Xerri looms as a big presence in North’s forward half, and another option to assist Todd Goldstein in the ruck.

He kicked 2 goals and had 24 hit-outs in a pre-season game against the Bulldogs, and has continued that strong form at training over recent months.

Xerri was the 72nd pick at the 2017 Draft.

North also welcomes back Ben Cunnington from a back injury, while Marley Williams returns after missing the opening two rounds with suspension.
