Head of Development, Gavin Brown, spoke to North Media about who caught the eye in the club’s recent scratch match against the Dogs.

Majak Daw

“Maj went into the ruck in this game to give himself some more match conditioning. He went forward in the second-half, and took some great marks and had plenty of shots on goal. He was marking the ball really well.”

Bailey Scott

“Bailey was great again. He’s gone back and worked really hard on his game. He’s doing the work in training and put himself in a great position for selection.”

Aiden Bonar

“Bonar went down back which is something new for him. He handled it really well, and we were really pleased. He defended his man very well.”

Tom Campbell

“Tom Campbell had a really good game as a key-forward. He dropped a few marks last week but he was clunking them on Saturday.”

Ben McKay and Sam Durdin

“Ben McKay and Sam Durdin have formed a great partnership down back, and they played really well again. They’re both putting their hands up for selection, which is fantastic for them and for the team.”
