Todd Goldstein has continued his outstanding season, polling votes for the fourth time in six rounds in the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year.

While North was outplayed by Essendon on Saturday night, there was no doubting Goldstein's impact as the number one big man on the ground.

He finished with 19 disposals, 30 hit-outs, registered 6 clearances and kicked a goal in the 14-point loss.

Goldstein grabbed four votes from the coaches and sits fifth overall on the league leaderboard.

Meanwhile, Jy Simpkin polled another two votes for his impressive outing; 23 disposals, 6 tackles and 7 clearances.

The Roos' number 12 has now caught the eye of the coaches in three games.
