Cruize Garlett has backed up last week’s superb performance for North Ballarat with another best-on-ground effort, this time against Frankston.

The midfielder worked tirelessly all afternoon at Eureka Stadium and collected a massive 35 possessions.

On the cusp for much of the year, the 23-year old has only played two senior AFL matches in 2012. His first game was in Round 9 against Brisbane and he followed up a week later against Hawthorn with 15 touches, in just a little more than a quarter of match-time.

Although it was an ugly 31-point win, the Roosters are finding form after a disappointing start to the season and its North Melbourne’s listed players are making a huge difference.

Matty Campbell had one of his best matches for the year gathering 29 disposals and laying 9 tackles while Aaron Edwards showed his intentions to get straight back to the top with what could be a career-high 32 touches and 10 marks.

Cam Richardson was always going to take some time to turn the corner after an injury interrupted pre-season and his game included 26 possessions, 7 tackles and a goal.

Cam Delaney had 18 touches and 11 one per centers, Luke Delaney had the ball 12 times and recorded 13 one per centers and Brad McKenzie had a good defensive game with 13 disposals and 7 tackles.

Aaron Mullett showed his trademark dash with 23 possessions and a goal while in the ruck, Ben Mabon was serviceable contributing 14 disposals, 7 marks and 20 hit-outs.

After a few games at AFL level, Aaron Black returned to the Roosters’ side and had 13 possessions, 6 marks, 2 goals and 9 one per centers.

Gavin Urquhart was good with 17 touches while also in the seniors, Max Warren looked more than comfortable with 15 possessions, 7 tackles and 11 one per centers.
