kangaroos.com.au says

Harper built on his debut season and his slight frame to consolidate his spot in the North 22. Playing all 23 games, he kicked 25 goals to rank fourth at the club behind Drew Petrie, Lindsay Thomas and Brent Harvey.

Alongside Matt Campbell, Harper had a number of appearances as the substitute and was well suited to the role. The highlight of those matches was the four goals he kicked against GWS Giants in Round 23 after being introduced early in the second quarter.

As 2013 draws closer, Harper could find himself pushing for more of a role further up the ground to have more of a consistent influence on games.
