kangaroos.com.au says
Much like 2011, Garlett spent the majority of the year in the VFL for North Ballarat with his excellent form not enough to break into the senior side on a regular basis.
However in the absence of several players for the Round 19 clash against the Western Bulldogs, he got his chance, grabbed it and ran with it.
Before making way for the return of Daniel Wells in the Elimination Final, Garlett was impressive playing through the midfield and spending time forward, particularly in the win over Essendon where he kicked two important early goals.

David Rhys-Jones
“I hope it will allow me to get to more contests and spread from the contest…give four-quarter, repeated efforts and all that sort of stuff.”
